Maria Hamilton joined Powell Spencer & Partners as a Consultant in August 2018.

Maria is a former Partner at McMillen Hamilton McCarthy Solicitors in East London and specialises in children law with particular expertise in complex care proceedings. She has been a member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme since 1997, representing children, Child Guardians, parents and other family members in care proceedings.

Maria is also  a higher courts advocate (in civil proceedings).
