Not always. If your child has a recent Speech and Language Therapy report from another qualified therapist, we may be able to use this to begin intervention. If not, we can complete our own comprehensive assessment or use the first few sessions to identify therapy goals.

We support children and young people aged 2–25 years across a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. We hope to expand our services to support adults in 2028.

Our therapists regularly work with Developmental Language Disorder, Autism, ADHD, Speech Sound Disorders, Down’s syndrome, Social Communication Differences, Selective Mutism, Learning Difficulties, Complex Communication Needs and many other needs. If you are unsure whether Speech and Language Therapy is appropriate, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise.

We offer therapy at home, where travel charges may apply; in schools or nurseries, subject to agreement; online, where clinically appropriate and generally recommended for ages six and above; and at our clinic spaces in Dartford and Orpington. We will recommend the most suitable option based on your child’s needs.

Yes. Online therapy can be highly effective for many children and young people, particularly those aged six and above, depending on their communication needs and ability to engage virtually. We use a specialist education platform to ensure sessions are engaging and enjoyable.

Yes. Every Speech and Language Therapist at Let’s Communicate Ltd is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

Yes. We are a registered Bupa provider. If you have private medical insurance through Bupa, please obtain a pre-authorisation code before contacting us. We do not currently accept Vitality or AXA.

Yes. We provide commissioned Speech and Language Therapy services for mainstream schools, specialist schools, colleges and local authorities. This includes assessments, therapy, EHCP provision, annual reviews, staff training and SENCO support.
